The Pixel Table

Today we’d like to introduce the next iteration of one of our favorite products, the ocean plastic coffee table!

The Pixel Table is inspired by Pejac’s Fossil Series.

The lumber for our table was recovered ocean lumber found on a beach in South Florida during the early months of the pandemic in 2020. The lumber was dried for over a year, and then processed down to 3.25″ square blocks, or pixels. Combined with layers of unrecyclable ocean plastic and black epoxy,  the finished piece hints at all of the pollution lurking below the surface of our waters, but grants the viewer hope by way of creating something beautiful from the trash that pollutes our local environment.

The Pixel Table recycled 907 grams (or 2 pounds!) of unrecyclable plastics and was our most challenging piece to date, but the finished product has been worth the effort and learning curve associated with it!

Thank you to all that support us, and to the amazing Pejac for the continued & seemingly unending creativity, inspiration, and fascinating works of art.
