A long-awaited product from the Free Plastic team, this coffee table is suitable for any living room, waiting room, or office. It combines our signature blend of mulched unrecyclable plastics & plastic pollution with reclaimed maple farmed from our South Florida beaches.

This coffee table contains 1 pound (454 grams) of unrecyclable plastics and is sealed with a food safe finish. All of the wood is sourced from a pallet that our farmer dragged out of the ocean, and the table stands on new steel legs. The assembled table measures roughly 22″ wide by 42″ long by 17″ tall.

All of the plastics farmed by Sun of a Beach Cleanup are cleaned, sorted, and mulched for rebaking/remelting in our injection machine, however some plastics are too dangerous or too contaminated to safely recycle. These unrecyclable plastics are separated out and used in our epoxy creations, like the Lazy Rivers and River Tables.

All proceeds support Free Plastic’s mission to locate, collect, and upcycle the nearly endless supply of plastic pollution found in our local environment, converting it into usable objects and works of art. Free Plastic, Inc is a Florida Not For Profit Corporation and is a fiscal sponsorship fund operating under the Key Biscayne Community Foundation’s 501(c)(3) charitable umbrella.
